  • Green, succulent, moist and soft flesh
  • Advice: wear gloves to protect hands when removing skin to avoid rash and irritation
  • Keep in water before boiling, to avoid discolouring and parboil to remove bitterness
  • Sautéed, steamed, boiled, baked, deep-fried, braised, soups, stews
